Memorysolution expands to Africa
|

The memory specialist, Memorysolution, is continuing on its expansionary course. Their plan, which is to gain additional market share on this enormous market by actively pursuing sales, is reflected in the appointment of Sven Esmyol as Sales Manager Africa. The goal in the medium-term is to create a South African office.
Germany, Breisach, April 25, 2005 - Memorysolution, the globally operating special supplier of memory, Flash cards and USB products, is currently expanding its international sales team and has announced the appointment of 28-year-old Sven Esmyol as Sales Manager Africa. This move is a further sign that Memorysolution is continuing its expansionary strategy.
Esmyol, who has a degree in IT systems management, will initially coordinate the strategic expansion of the African market from the Frankfurt office. In a second phase, he will be involved in setting up the South African office.
Until now, Memorysolution could refer customers to existing business relationships in Africa but sales were not actively pursued. This new focus on sales development will not only position the company in this growing market at an opportune time but also fulfil its obligations as an EMEA distributor for Infineon and Aeneon.
Esmyol is very pleased about this new challenge at Memorysolution because he has a special relationship to South Africa. "My father was born in South Africa and lives in Cape Town. This means, of course, that I am familiar with the country and its people. It is my goal to set up the sales network for Memorysolution's top-quality memory products, Flash cards and USB solutions as quickly as possible and establish takeMS as a synonym for quality and performance." All products are now available in South Africa.
Memorysolution's product range currently includes:
- more than 9000 proprietary memory upgrades
- takeMS standard memory from DDR2-533 to PC133 for PCs, servers and notebooks
- takeMS Flash cards as multimedia cards, reduced size multimedia cards,
CompactFlash, high-speed CompactFlash, secure digital, mini secure digital,
high-speed secure digital, SmartMedia
- takeMS USB solutions such as the MEM drive, card reader and MP3 player
