Under its own brand name, takeMS, Memorysolution has
now developed DDR400-ECC registered modules (PC3200) with 1
GB of memory capacity. Germany's leading special distributor
of memory products and Flash cards is now represented among
server modules with this true reference product.
Breisach, February 18, 2004 . With the
new takeMS DDR400-ECC registered Type PC3200 memory modules
with 1 GB of capacity, Germany’s leading special distributor
of memory products and Flash cards now has a true reference
products in its portfolio. "The DDR400 modules currently
coming out on the market represent an enormous leap in development
over the DDR266 ECC that hit markets only last November," says
Memorysolution Managing Director, Gerald Diercks. "And,
we are one of the first suppliers to introduce this top-of-the-line
technology to the market. The users we target in the workstation
and server segment, on the other hand, are eagerly awaiting
DDR400 in this performance class."
The SDRAMs designed for AMD Opteron processors feature
a completely new IC design and the micro MBGA housing design
already indicative of DDR2. This means that they are less
susceptible to interference, a fact that developers underscore.
In addition, these new high-performance modules meet the
strict JEDEC specifications just like all takeMS products.
After speed, a high degree of reliability is one of the particular
features of this memory product that with ECC (Error Correction
Code) registered has a special test routine: Here, data is
stored briefly in a buffer and any bit errors are filtered
out before the signal is passed along.
These new modules are now available. Memorysolution offers
a 10-year warranty for all takeMS products.
