At this year's CeBIT, Memorysolution will present its
completely new, practically-oriented partner program tailored
to meet the needs of its different retail partners. The Certified
Value Program called "Enjoy the Experience" will be one of
the key elements that the leading German supplier of memory
solutions will use to support its retail business in the future.
Breisach, February 27, 2004 . At this
year’s CeBIT (Hall 22/A23 and Planet Reseller Hall
25/222), Memorysolution will launch its completely revamped
Certified Value Program called "Enjoy the Experience".
This program gives the leading German special supplier of
memory products and Flash cards a solid basis for its commitment
to authorized dealers. Instead of creating a multi-level "class" system
used in standard programs, two custom-made segments were
developed, the "MSO Certified Reseller" and the "MSO
Certified Partner". Each segment, with its distinguished
service, support and financing options, is tailored to meet
the widely varying needs of IT retailers and system houses
. The new system offers all companies who participate in
the programs the same opportunity to become an active, customer-oriented
seller of memory products.
"When we developed the Certified Value Program, we
focused on day-to-day business with retailers, system houses,
VARs and resellers," says Memorysolution Managing Director,
Edmund Dägele. "As a result, technical data, compatibility
lists and information about unique features of special boards
or finished systems will be made available on the Internet
in the future. The reason is that the memory business moves
at a fast pace and up-to-date information is critical to
our partners’ survival." Memorysolution is setting
new standards in this area with XML programming that can
also be accessed via mobile devices. This feature allows
technicians to get free support while troubleshooting on-site.
Information about each individual program:
The "MSO Certified Reseller" program
is geared towards IT resellers. In addition to the technical
information mentioned above and more direct contact to the
manufacturer, advertising and informational material are
also important features of this partnership. Retailers are
also included in an official list organized by zip code. "Identifying
our partners on our web site and providing individually tailored
marketing support helps us to acquire new customers," explains
Edmund Dägele. Payment targets and terms are defined
by means of special conditions. All of our partners also
receive the regularly published Memorysolution Newsletter
which contains information on product ideas and current news
from the memory industry. One significant development in
the day-to-day business is further improvements in how RMAs
are handled. Now, customers have the opportunity both to
exchange products within three to five days or, should the
module be defective, receive a new one before sending back
the defective one within a 24 hour period.
In contrast, the "MSO Certified Partner" is
specially tailored to each partner who qualifies for the
program. These companies primarily offer turnkey solutions
and complete systems, thus falling into the category of systems
houses in the broadest sense. In this category, the focus
is particularly on providing support in pricing and financing
when creating quotes for projects and tenders as well as
on the intensive technical cooperation for complete solutions.
This partnership also includes testing modules and training
at no extra cost. "Of course, we also pass along interesting
leads to our partners, offer special project-based price
conditions and price assurances," emphasizes Edmund
Dägele. "And last but not least, our competent
employees offer personal, on-site support when visiting customers
or at trade shows and company-sponsored trade shows." A
special highlight of this program is that Certified Partners
have the opportunity to integrate the complete Memorysolution
B2C online memory shop into their own web site, thus making
it possible to offer customers up-to-the-minute information
on more than 30,000 products, prices and availability. "Using
the database we designed, each Certified Partner is identified
as an authorized memory solution specialist. By entering
the data ourselves, we save our partner from having to do
this work and at the same time guarantee that the information
is always reliable," explains Edmund Dägele. The
leasing concept developed by Memorysolution is also unique
among the competition. Partners can offer their customers
this program as an interesting new option for projects. "We
are creating additional incentives in the memory segment
with these programs," says Edmund Dägele confidently.
