Memorysolution leasing model: New incentives in the memory business

Working closely together with the leading financing specialist, Gefa, Memorysolution has developed an exclusive leasing model with markedly favorable terms in the project business which will create new opportunities for Memorysolution partners to sell their memory products.

Breisach, March 8, 2004. The leasing model, which was a joint effort developed for the CeBIT (Hall 22/A23 and Planet Reseller Hall 25/222) in cooperation between the leading German special supplier of memory products and Flash cards, Memorysolution, and Gefa, not only gives end customers added incentive to buy, it also opens up interesting new sales opportunities for specially certified Memorysolution retailers or systems houses. Gefa is part of the internationally operating Société Générale and the leading specialist for sales and investment financing. This strong partner and by virtue of the volume of orders bundled with Memorysolution make it possible to offer certified partners and their customers in the project business extremely favorable terms starting at an investment volume of EUR 10,000. After the leasing period of 24, 30 or 36 months has ended, the customer has the attractive option of purchasing the leased memory at a low price of one or two monthly payments or replacing it with new products. These favorable leasing contracts are exclusively available from Memorysolution Certified Partners.

Edmund Dägele, Memorysolution’s Managing Director, says: "With this new model for the memory industry and the exclusive terms it contains, we offer our Certified Partners in the project business more sales opportunities and a real competitive advantage." He added that everyone stands to gain from this new model: "The customers benefit because they do not have to forego a flexible update to their hardware. Our partners, because they can overcome cautious buying practices and generate new orders. And finally, Memorysolution, because our sales market grows and the relationships to our partners intensify." There are neither long waits nor any risks because the merchandise is completely paid for via Gefa within a few days, emphasizes Edmund Dägele: "This is a huge advantage because 30 to 60 days is standard practice in the project business for normal purchases." Participating Memorysolution partners can now access these terms on the Web using their company login and prepare individually created quotes for their customers.
