Memorysolution receives EMEA distributor award for memory products from Infineon Technologies.
Germany, Breisach, November 8, 2004 – As was announced
today by Memorysolution, the memory specialist, Infineon
had already chosen the recipient of the EMEA distributor
award (Europe, Middle East, Africa) for memory products at
the beginning of October. This award strengthens the successful
cooperation between these two companies that has existed
since 1998 and gives it new impetus.
Memorysolution, through its continuously expanded cooperation
with Infineon over the years, has become the one of the premium
addresses for Infineon memory products in Germany and in
Europe.
By making Memorysolution an official EMEA distributor of
memory products, Infineon Technologies guarantees the company
support in marketing and communications for memory products.
Memorysolution’s sales network represents an important
sales channel for memory products from Infineon, the innovative
leader in semi-conductor technologies. This channel will
be steadily expanded .
Both Managing Directors of Memorysolution, Gerald Diercks
and Edmund Dägele, are pleased about this development. “This
is by all means a special moment and a milestone in Memorysolution’s
company history,” says Gerald Diercks about becoming
an EMEA distributor.
“It is our goal to be able to supply Infineon modules
as quickly as possible from Trondheim all the way to Cape
Town,” is how Edmund Dägele, who is head of the
sales and marketing division, describes the situation. “We
want to take advantage of this great opportunity to maximise
the outstanding market potential for Infineon products.”
Memorysolution can already rely on a perfectly coordinated
network of national partners in the key European markets.
In addition, they also have lots of global business contacts
was good potential for becoming partners in the future.
“We will now start carefully reviewing whether the
existing structures in each country are suitable for ideally
positioning Infineon memory products in each market,” says
Edmund Dägele, describing the next steps. “Target
groups and MarCom for our own takeMS memory cannot just be
100% transferred or enhanced for the Infineon product range.
There will be decisions made in each individual case depending
on the IT structure and the channel practices in each country
which will determine the type and number of our national
sales partners.”
All the same, Memorysolution is certain that it will be
able to justify faith placed in it in the short term. One
of the key elements to its success will be making the Infineon
brand more visible to users.
“We’re convinced that we will be able to establish
the value that Infineon deserves based on the quality it
provides and the technical competence it has not just with
people who deal with IT issues on a day-to-day basis but
also with commercial and private customers in the EMEA countries,” says
Gerald Diercks, the Managing Director responsible for procurement
and technology. “No memory currently exists with such
a high level of quality and it is our intention to make sure
that the services and support customers receive it is just
as high.”
