Memorysolution stayed on its impressive course throughout
2003: Sales of the company, which is a special supplier
of memory products and Flash cards internationally, rose
to EUR 87 million (previous year: EUR 63 million). Managing
Director Edmund Dägele has set his sights on expanding
the company brand, take MS, and creating a brand new partner
program in 2004.
Breisach, February 10, 2004 .
Memorysolution, the special supplier of memory products and
Flash cards, continued along the path to success in 2003, increasing
its sales to EUR 87 million. This is an additional increase
of 38 percent over last year’s very positive figure of
EUR 63 million. "This figure indicates that we more
than reached our financial goals last year," says Memorysolution
Managing Director, Edmund Dägele. "Our growth which
goes against current market, trends can be attributed to
the solid technical competence of our employees as well as
our successful activities in Germany and on foreign markets.
We were able to reinforce our position with retailers and
systems houses and are now the leading supplier of memory
solutions in Germany.”
Important new sales partnerships were also formed last
year: The long-term partnerships that exist in Switzerland,
Austria, Denmark, Liechtenstein, Greece and Romania were
strategically supplemented through distribution agreements
in the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Lithuania,
Latvia and the Ukraine. Through these agreements Memorysolution
is now well-represented in the growing markets of northern
and eastern Europe. At the end of 2003, DTD – Didi
Trade & Distribution also became a central sales partner
for Belgium and, at the beginning of 2004, Memorysolution’s
presence in Scandinavia was completed through an agreement
with the SMG Micro Group, one of the leading distributors
in Sweden and Finland. Prime Memorysolution, a subsidiary
formed in January 2004, will enter the US market. "This
will give us a leg to stand on outside of Europe," explains
Edmund Dägele. "The US offers enormous sales opportunities.
We continue to be interested in eastern Europe where we have
already been quite successful."
Edmund Dägele has set his sights on continuing to
expand Memorysolution’s successful internal brand,
takeMS, for the current year: "We recently also incorporated
takeMS server modules into our product offering with a high
degree of success. The well-known quality of our products
makes us predestined for this interesting and demanding growth
market. Last year, our sales grew by 25 percent with takeMS.
The new products for the server segment will take us even
further." The Flash memory products have also made their
contribution to increases in the takeMS brand.
Memorysolution will present its brand new partner program
at the CeBIT in Hall 22 / Stand A23. "With our practically-oriented,
Internet-based Certified Value Program, we will give our
partners important new incentives to grow together with Memorysolution
and continue to generate excellent sales figures and earnings
again in 2004," says Edmund Dägele.
